Get The Look: Riverdale's Veronica Lodge feat eShakti FX

Hey Dreamers! As many of you know, I am obsessed with Pretty Little Liars and used to write reviews on each episode. I would also find the exact outfits and accessories that the women on the show would wear. A new show that I am obsessed with is Riverdale, which includes a character named Veronica Lodge that wear outfits that I absolutely adore!

As I did research to find Veronica's exact outfits and accessories, I discovered that many of the pieces would sell out quickly within a day or so after the episode's release. Luckily for you guys, I previously worked with a brand named eShakti, that are not only affordable, but they can tailor a piece to fit you perfectly. Not many online retailers offer this helpful option. But guess what?! eShakti has now extended their website to where you can actually design an outfit to your liking. So let's see if we can design Veronica inspired outfits on eShakti.

Look #1: Lots of Lace

In various episodes, Veronica has worn either a dress or top that includes lace detail such as the one pictured above. I thought I would try and re-create that look with this lace dress below.

I have not seen Veronica wear a long lace dress, so I changed the length to "above knee" in the second image.

Look #2: White Collar

Veronica often wears dresses and tops with white collars. I found this Contrast Collar Poplin Dress (which comes with pockets for those of you who love pockets) and decided to change the neckline to a peter style, as well as, change the sleeves to sleeveless.

I also wanted to give you guys the option of wearing a dress that was a different material and didn't have the empire waist or pleating on the bottom. I found this Faux-Leather Trim Cotton Knit Shift Dress with a sporty-chic look. The dress originally has a spread neckline with long sleeves, so I changed the neckline to a peter pan neckline, as well as, changed the sleeve lengths.

Look #3: Dark Dresses & V-Necks

Veronica's wardrobe tends to lean toward darker colors. The formal dresses that she wears are typically low cut and she accessorizes them with a pearl necklace. I chose this Cotton Knit Fit And Flare dress with a low V-neckline, princess seamed bodice and full flared skirt. This dress also has side pockets.

Here is the final design with this dress (Just add some pearl accessories and you are ready to go):

Once again, I wanted to give you guys another variation to a Veronica look. I chose this Pleated Cotton Jersey Knit Maxi dress because of the small, but deep jeweled neckline that is almost like a built-in necklace. I can see Veronica wearing the shortened version as an everyday school dress. Plus, I love that it has pockets!

OOTD Inspiration: Shift To Spring

Besides the random snow storms and fluctuating weather, I am excited to say that Spring is right around the corner! This soft outfit transition us from winter to spring with its brown and slightly warm peachy colors. I also love the pop of gold from the necklace which compliments the neutral striped shirt. Pretty Little Liars Season 7 Episode 8: Exes and OMGs Review

1. Too Late To Say Sorry?: Am I the only one who feels like Ezra should forgive Aria already for not telling him the truth. I know he is hurt, but he could have easily thought that she was trying to protect him from being hurt. After all, it could have been a trick from "A" when he got a phone call from Nicole.

2. Love?: I loved the surprise of Paige coming back to the show and her conversation with Emily where they kind of reconnected. But I wonder if Paige will do something crazy out of jealousy because of Emily's budding relationship with someone else.

3. Haunting: Poor Ali is being tortured by her own mind when she goes back to teaching. However there is one student in her class that seems sneaky and rude to me with his indirect remark about her past.

  

4. Creative Scare: I loved seeing Hanna's creativity in her sketches, I didn't like how she is still haunted by her scars. Then on top of that we have that elderly psychic woman who senses danger from Noel Kahn. Am I the only one who thinks her blue eyes just make her seem even creepier? 

 

 

5. Suspicious: I wonder what the connection is between Lisa Cochran and Noel Kahn. Any ideas?

 6. Dr. Death: I thought the story of how Mary Drake having another child was very sad, but then again it makes me wonder if she ever tried looking for the other child later on like she did with Charlotte.

7. Now That I See You: Can these two just get back together already!! Gracious, stop playing with my emotions and kiss and make up. Sheesh.

8. Beginning Of The End: I thought it was really sweet that Aria paid for Ezra to go see if Nicole was alive. But can we talk about her wedding dress?! Gorgeous! Look at the delicate beading and the silk bodice. I hope she still gets to wear it at the end of the season.

9. Who Can It Be?: I am not going to lie, it looks to me like there are pictures missing in this photo album. What do you think? I'm also not sure if that is a smug face on Spencer's face because she knows something or because she is putting something together. Hmm..

10. Do It Yourself: I need to know what Hanna has up her sleeve. I feel like she hired a hit man to torture Noel to get information out of him. Or maybe she hired someone to kidnapp him, then she will torture him to get back at him for everything he has done to her.

Covet: Stella & Dot's Luxury Line

Oh. My. Gosh. (Insert shocked emoji here lol)  You guys I am literally freaking out over Stella & Dot's new luxury line "Covet" which releases in September. The line has been in the works for sometime and the CCO Blythe Harris and her design team have released that the line is meant to represent everything we covet in life (family, friends, our career etc). One of the many things I adore about this line are the 14k yellow and white gold chains as well as the conflict free white and black diamonds! 

Don't you just love these three necklaces already!? Stella & Dot also took the time to make sure that they could offer toxin-free and high-end leather goods for a fraction of what other brands will offer. Here is another sneak peak of some of the items!
